Question / Help Possible Slow server?

Hello everyone!

I just started to do livestream not long ago .... Tryed Xsplit and it ended up taking too much ''Juice'' to run and i decided to try OBS and it was a good choice the difference is huge! But here i have a little problem i used JTVPing to find the best server to stream on.

So i used US East: Ashburn, VA (Secondary) because the Average ping was a little better... Started streaming .. And i found there was a log Analyzer so i was .. Oh yeah well better see if anything wrong while im streaming and everytimes it gave me these result..

Aero is disabled
Aero seems to be disabled, consider enabling it unless using monitor capture.(I Alway tough disabling aero was better normally?)

Possible slow server
The server you are streaming to (rtmp://live-iad.justin.tv/app) took 195 ms to connect. This may mean your connection or the server is slow, or the server is far away from you. If you are using twitch.tv, you may want to try using JTVPing to find an optimal server.

And this possible slow server is what annoying me ... You can clearly see the server i choose was having a good ping and i was wondering ... Why does it give me it took 195ms to connect ?

And my connection is more than enough to handle streaming ... So anyone would have an idea to help me .. Or a reason to why it does look like having 195ms ?

An RTMP handshake takes longer than a ping, so it is expected to take longer than what the Latency check would tell you. Taking 195ms to connect isn't bad per se...long handshake times can sometimes mean the server is a bit overloaded. I've seen people streaming to servers where the handshake took even longer and they are streaming just fine. But ping is not the same thing as connection time.

If you're not having actual connection problems with the server, then this is nothing to worry about, just good to know.

Oh well! Thanks for the info ... I don't know much about these thing .. So i tough it would be better to ask someone about it .. Thanks you very much guess i'll be streaming just fine .. Again thanks you very much !
