Hi guys, i've recently started to stream gameplays as a new content for my website, and now im configuring things in my channel and obs to obtain better quality. OBS is an awesome piece of software and i dont have any problems with it yet, the thing is my internet connection is not so awesome, the only link avaiable in my home location has 5mb speed, for everyday use it is OK and at a fair price here, used it for online gaming at a reasonable ping. But i cant get more than like 400kbps of upload, so im streaming at 340 bitrate and 800x450px (capped from 1600x900 resolution), u can check the video quality on my channel highlights, its not so bad, but it isnt good either. Here in Brazil internet providers by law can provide up to 10% minimum bandwith to the final user over the contracted speed, so i rarely get more than 500kbps download speed, I dont know if their limit all user connection or make traffic shaping, or both at the same time.
What i want to know is how can I optimize my upload speed, if a VPN would help? disabling firewall, open specific ports in router, i've alreadly disable large send offload on adpater...
Any tips will be appreciated, and btw sry about my english xD
