Poor Recording Quality (1920x1080, indistinguishable quality, hardware encoder)

I'm having poor recording quality issues despite my streaming quality being perfect. My settings are 1920x1080, indistinguishable quality, and I'm using a hardware encoder, so I'm not sure what else I could be doing wrong. Below is an example of what it should look like versus how the recording comes out.

Don't think this is needed, but just in case, here's my log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/oZNW5NFtpOOPVC_c

Based on the report, it looks like you are using scaling in the encoder settings. This should not be done as the scaling filter does not work here.

I went into the settings and the "Rescale Output" wasn't selected. Also, the photo you sent is for the streaming output, not the recording output (unless that was just an example).

can you show a screenshot of your "recording" settings?
The log is only showing 3500kbit/s 720p for the encoder. Maybe you have "use stream encoder" selected in the recording tab.

Yes, but in the log file, the resolutions in the video and broadcast settings are different. As BK-Morpheus wrote, you should take a look at the screenshots.
