Question / Help Poor Quality Using DSLR as Webcam

I have a problem with using a DSLR to capture video. I have a canon EOS 750d, and I connect the hdmi port to the PC using a USB CamLink. When the camera screen appears in OBS it is very small, so I have to expand it, which compromises the video quality.
Is there a way to increase the size/resolution of the hdmi feed without having to expand it after the fact and lose quality? Or am I just using the wrong equipment for the job?
