Question / Help Poor Audio Quality From Xbox One with Elgato HD60s

I'm not sure if this is the right thread but it seems to be the closest. So I have been trying to stream on Mixer using my Elgato HD60 s which is plugged up to my Xbox one and PC for OBS. I am using the chat link and an additional mic so that party audio can be streamed as well. The separate mic has it's own filters and compression to sound great, but the audio from my Xbox sounds very muffled or compressed. What's weird is that the audio from chat seems fine in the stream but the game audio is terrible. I have had several complaints about lack of "depth", "bass" and quality being described as coming through a ham radio (all while noting my mic is great). I cannot find a tutorial or info anywhere online for this problem. Is there something I can do to improve the audio level and quality from the xbox one through an Elgato HD 60s? Thank you.

Hey Adrian. I have it set to stereo uncompressed. Whenever I have tried to play around and set it to 5.1 or 7.1, I get an error message saying that those audio formats are not supported.

Not sure how old the thread is but I have the exact sound issue on PS4. Using chat link the game and party audio is shockingly bad. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
