Question / Help Podcast Overlay Confusion

So I'm trying to create a setup for a live podcast me and some friends do. I want to have our faces over the white spots, but am relatively new to OBS. How do you think I should go about setting this up? Here's an image of the overlay.

A pretty standard way to do this is to use a video chat program (such as Skype) and use Window capture to capture the videos.

Well the problem with that is that I do the window capture, but then I can't resize or move the various boxes around, and I get this.
