I am honestly out of my element with this problem. I think recently at least a month or so i'v been getting an audio sync issue with my stream. I'v tried reading topics and searching nothing seemed to help i even had one of my roommates who knew more then i did and couldn't help. It's got to be a setting i don't have right on OBS because i tried Xsplit and it worked fine. Only problem with Xsplit is it's a resource hog and they charge you for quality and customization. Here is my Log and a video sample, Hope somebody can help me :( i really want to stream but bad audio sync is gonna kill my viewer ship before it even starts.

If you're referring to your mic being out of sync try going to Settings>Audio>Mic Sync Offset (milliseconds) and try setting it to the same as what you have in Advanced>Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds). Solved my issue with my mic being faster than the video.

If it's the actually gameplay audio being out of sync then I think you have to go to Advanced>Audio>Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time. That or Use Mic QPC timestamps, but I think that's for syncing your mic and webcam.

Hope that helped, if not I'm sure one of the developers can help you with any issues you have. Good luck with your stream :D

Well the twitch gameplay video was pretty clear on what the problem is when i said up down left etc it was not when i did the motion. The problem is the video is faster then the mic so w/e is said through the mic doesn't match the video

Try changing Advanced>Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds) to a higher number. I started with 700 so you can increase it by 100 until it's hopefully in sync. Basically the Scene Buffering is going to delay the video so if the video is 1 second faster set it to 1000 milliseconds. Other than that I can't help much, a developer will have to help out.

Looking at the log file it says that you have Mic Sync Offset to 300 milliseconds (meaning the mic is delayed .3 seconds) so if you set that to 0 and set the Scene Buffering to 700 milliseconds you can start over. If the video is still faster, the only thing I know is making the Scene Buffering higher. I also only use Timestamps if I'm using a webcam, if not it's unchecked. As I said, I'm NOT a developer, just another user. I'm just trying to help.

I'll try to give you input based on how my settings are in my log file. In Advanced go down to Audio and uncheck both Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time and Use Mic QPC timestamps. Also, set Global Audio Sync Offset (milliseconds) to 2. Still in Advanced keep your Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds) 700. Go to the Audio Tab itself and find Mic Sync Offset (milliseconds) and set it to 700. If the video is still faster, set the Mic Sync Offset (milliseconds) to 0. If the video is still faster then ONLY adjust Scene Buffering Time (milliseconds) to a higher number to delay it more until it is matched up with the audio.
