Plugins won't install (Manual installation)

Hi! This is my first time posting in any forum, so please forgive any formatting issues. I'd really appreciate any help!

Here's my issue:
I'm trying to install a plugin. I've done both the installer and the manual way of going into the folders and installing the extracted zip files into the correct places. After multiple restarts of the program and even my PC, it won't show in the software. I am sure I've done all of the correct steps, but I'm just not getting anywhere. I have tried with a different plugin and got the same outcome.

System:

• OBS 27.2.4 (64-Bit)
• The plugin: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/audio-monitor.1186/
• Windows 10
• Intel i9 3.6GHz
• 64GB RAM

You have to ask in the plugin thread (you posted the link)
Also, make sure the version you're installing works with the version of OBS you're using.

Hi! Thanks for the response. I can post it there, but I posted it here because it's not just an issue with this plugin, but all plugins.
I also did check, and it does support my version of OBS.

You were right. I updated and that fixed the issue (even though it said my version as supported). Thanks!
