Plugin to measure the performance of Twitch servers and select best server

Hello,

In addition to my DJ streams, I am a professional software developer.

Lately I've been having constant problems with the Twitch servers when I start a stream.
After some reconnects the stream runs fine.

That's why I thought about developing an OBS Plugin which makes a benchmark test against all Twitch servers and selects the actual best server before starting the stream.The plugin would be available for macOS and Windows.

My questions to all of you are:
  • Do you also have these problems?
  • Are you interested in such a plugin?
  • Would you pay a small fee to get such a plugin?

Yes, I also found that TwitchTest app.

But there are some limitations:
- Only for Windows
- Not included in OBS and requires manual steps

Auto Configuration setup also needs to be executed manually.

I don't like manual steps and prefer fully included software and automatic setup.

My plugin automatically measures server quality and sets the proper server just by using the "Start Streaming" button.
Additionally the measuring is much faster than with auto configuration wizard.
