Here's a website that lists the most popular plugins and if the developer has made them compatible with the newest version:

Let's remember that it's NOT OBS responsibility to update the plugins, the update depends on the creators of the plugins.
Thank you very much sir i apreciate

Just breaking plugins that have worked for years because of an update is irresponsible on the part of OBS. They should inform and help developers to transition.
The dev team informed the plugins creators / maintainers about the update. Then the creators / maintainers of the plugins started to work on the updated versions. Some are more easy to update than others, so the time it takes for them to do it. Also, they have a life besides of the plugins so the update may not be so fast as you may wish.
If you need some plugins keep using the previous version of OBS and wait until this plugins are correctly updated to move on.

That would be great to know before installing, but the update option that pops up does not give any warning that e.g. the current version of NDI plugin or the ptzoptics controller plugin, streamFX, or color monitor, wouldn't work.

Never mind that the auto update option is partially broken and requires a force closing of a background OBS in the task manager for it to run.

It does though:

It clearly states right there: NOTE: SOME PLUGINS MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH OBS 28.

Maybe read better next time before coming in here to just complain?

They did. They notified plugin creators months in advance. It is not their responsibility to update third-party plugins.

Imagine if someone suggested that Ford had to provide support to every third-party aftermarket part manufacturer any time they made changes or updates to a given model. It's just not feasible. Go yell at the plugin makers.
Or better yet, thank them for providing functionality so long for free, and offer to pay them to update their plugin.
