PLEASE HELP

This is urgent and i need help because the solution to this is literally nowhere. when i open OBS, all other audio goes completely silent. when i fix that, the audio is now extremely loud and crunchy. Same thing with my microphone. someone please help because i don't know what to do. This is my first time posting, so sorry if I didnt provide enough detail.

Also, the OBS log only provides OBS specific details.
Fully describe the audio you are referring to.. only PC generated audio, or do you have a microphone(s). if external audio sources (camera/mic) then detail out the specific connections.. some people have mics into a mixer then analog or digital (USB or Thunderbolt) to PC... etc.

And expect to need to understand the Operating System (OS) audio sub-systems, permissions, and settings [a lot more involved that Win7 and earlier]. These OBS Audio related articles may help
