Please help OBS + Mixer Audio Issue

Hi, new to the forum and pretty rookie when it comes to setting up streams and audio. If anyone could help that would be appreciated.

Setup:
I currently have a dual PC stream setup using a elgato HD60S+ capture card. My audio is being connected with a GoXLR mini. I have my rode podcast mic connected to the XLR port on the GoXLR mini, a line out from the mini to the line in of the streaming pc, and a line in on the mini connecting to the line out of the streaming pc. Based on everything I have been researching and seeing, I set the audio on my streaming PC to the Line In (High Definition Audio Device).

So here is the problem:
I hear music, gaming sounds, and everything fine on my gaming PC with good audio levels. But when i start the stream and tune in - all the audio is very low. My music is barely able to be heard and same for my game sounds. I have to turn the music very high and game sounds very high in order for it to be heard decently on stream but then my ears are being blown out. I tried fixing it by adding a gain on the filters on OBS but I have to set it to like 8-9dB for it to sound somewhat normal.

Side problem:
My mic is picking up mouse clicks, keyboard clicks, and even living room noises lol. Is there a good way to fix this at all? Threshold set to -40dB with attentuation set to 50%? (I dont know if this information helps)

Sorry for the long post and thank you in advance!

While waiting for more knowledgeable answers
- start with basic troubleshooting.
My recommendation - Do NOT use OBS for this troubleshooting (it isn't relevant, most likely).
stream from PC (source) to OBS PC. Use much simpler software (like the Windows built-in audio devices/monitors, to check audio levels), and get working properly there. Only then add OBS to the 'mix'
on my PC, with Realtek audio drivers, I can use the front audio port as Mic line in and it works fine. If I use the rear audio port, even when selecting same Mic in optimization on Realtek driver, there is an audio level mis-match.
So... your issue may (my guess, probably not) be OBS but rather your line levels, and audio ports themselves (and possibly associated Windows OS settings). For my Presonus Mixer using XLR out to line level adapter to 3.5mm TRRS cable, it took some testing various adapter gain settings, and different cables to get a setup that worked cleanly.
Have you tried using Mic vs Line in? Have you used another audio device (not OBS PC) to check actual audio out signal/cable from PC #1 as to whether it is Line vs Mic levels?

I just tried everything and it works! Nothing was working until I tried the Mic port in my computer cases front panel....its crazy. Why does this happen? lol. Thank you so much!! Really appreciate the help!

You are welcome, Glad to help. Enjoy
As to why it happens - motherboard hardware design and associated vendor Operating System audio drivers
