Thanks for your response but problem started with 18.01 and I have gone back through all the versions I could find and regardless of version the 64bit one will not open the process starts and stops never see obs. 32bit is fine. This is always in the log regardless of version.

I have done clean GFX driver install

Sorry, but if the log is showing 0.14.1 then you are doing something wrong. There's no way this would be reported incorrectly. Either this is the wrong log, or you are not updating OBS correctly. Run the 18.0.1 full installer again, and then try these steps to make a clean log file:

To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again. Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

No problem your quite right the log was from 14 I left that installed as an example that older versions don't work either but as requested here is a log from a fresh install of the latest OBS version. I cant open to stream or record. it closes straight away but this is what it puts in the log

That's the full log? Very strange it would hang up at that point. Does the process show up in the task manager or in the task tray (next to the clock) at all?
