Question / Help PLEASE HELP! All of sudden FPS Drop

Output 'adv_stream': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 5709 (6.1%)

Your GPU is maxed out. Reduce in-game settings or cap your frame rate to give OBS more GPU headroom.

@xxAssassin349 why is this happening now. It wasn't happening before. I have 2 GTX 970s, im not using SLI, is there anyway to fix this without changing anything. As it was working fine then windows had update and all my settings were reset. so trying to figure out what setting could of changed to cause this.

anything with nvidia settings? something that could of been changed that i need to change back so i can stream at 60FPS. with 2 GTX 970's i shouldn't have issue like this and for past 9 months i haven't had 1 issue, now i update windows and i have an issue come up that wasn't there before.

I'd ask helpers to consider there's a larger issue here.

LOTS of these threads popping up recently (my own included). All of our GPU's didn't suddenly get worse and start requiring capped fps (which does not solve the issue btw).

vGWicKeD - one thing i found that at least temporarily brings my FPS back up a bit was verifying game cache for CSGO.

The latest nvidia drivers have been reported to increase both GPU and CPU usage due to updates to the Share/Shadowplay functionality. Several users have reported disabling this has helped quite a bit.
