Question / Help Playing VLC video source in slow motion

Hi all,

Is there a way to apply options to a VLC video source such as the command line options found here?: https://wiki.videolan.org/VLC_command-line_help/

Specifically I wish to play the replay output file at a slower speed and from a specific second. So for example if the buffer is 10 seconds I want to make a scene that shows only the last 5 seconds but at half speed. I'll have another scene with the full highlight at normal speed.

Cheers,

Hi! I am looking for the same funcionality.
I want to create a replay using the replay buffer (already did) and when I show it into my stream, I want to put a slow motion on it without rendering in a video editor.

Can someone help?

Hi everyone,

I was also looking for such a functionnality. I did quite the same round robin as you Exeldro, running on demand a MPC (Media Player Classic). It works well, but it asks a third party tool (MPC) to be ran... Hope a speed function on a replay will be available.. i'd be glad ;)
