Hello there!

I am a new streamer and I am currently streaming a couple of games, such as Cities Skylines and Rust. My streams look great when playing Cities Skylines, but pixelated and choppy when playing Rust. What should I set my OBS to to ensure seamless as possible streaming with smooth visual??

Computer specs:
Intel i5-3570K CPU @ 3.4GHz (Note: I have a large Heatsink installed to cool it better)
16 GBs DDR3
EVGA GTX 960

Also here is my speedtest

Please help anyway you can!

That's normal. Your upload do not allow you to stream at higher Bitrate, so any game that have more action, a lot of movements and stuff like that, will look pixalated.

Your PC, read your CPU, won't allow you to use higher x264 Preset like "faster", "fast" that help a little with the pixalated problem.

Best thing you can do is to get a better connection with higher Upload Speed if possible.

You can see that even big streamers have the same problem, in their case not as bad as yours, even with higher Bitrate, that's normal because the x264 codec suck at encoding in realtime some small details like grass... I like to say that grass is the worst enemy of a streamer because it aways make the stream quality look bad hehe
