Question / Help Pixelated Stream X High Encoding

I'm having an issue while streaming.

I either stream via Quick Sync and get a super pixelated stream (image shows my Quick Sync settings).

Or I use x264 (Normal process priority) and get High Enconding.

What can I do to stop having High Encoding?

Will I be able to maintain 1080p?

Is it possible to be a RAM issue?

if you must have 1080p then it wont be nice and crisp, twich allowed 6k birate is still too low for this.
stick to 720p60

on video tab - change fps to 60 , and output res to 1280x720
make sure you have set 60 desktop refresh in nvidia panel

set QSV like in my pic and it will look quite good

if you still want 1080 change birate to 6000 and consider 30fps in obs. check my calculator for proper bitrates

next time pls post full log

Thanks for the reply.
The thing is Quicksync makes the image too pixelated as stated in the original post.
I got an upload rate of 10Mbps wich should be enough to stream up to 9Kbps I believe.
And I don't really want to stream @720p because if I do so, the text on stream won't be as clear as a 1080p one.
Your suggestion of streaming @1080p 30fps is the optimal one I guess, but I think it still reports a "high enconding" issue, I'll try it again and I'll let you know.

Thanks again for the help!

No matter what i5 (maybe with Coffeelake though) none is suited for 1080p30 x264 usually an i5 hits its limit with 720p30 already.

1080p30@6000 with NVENC on a pascal card should be looking really decent
