Question / Help Performance when OBS is open is poor.

I have the following issue when I open OBS.

9 time out of 10 I will want to use Xplane 10. I load up XP10 and as always get frames around the 35 - 40 FPS mark and once I open up OBS the frames drop to less than 20 even when not recording or streaming. I close OBS and the performance issues are still there. I have to close Xplane and reopen it a few times before it will go back to normal. but then if I open OBS once again I'm back to square one.

Check for conflicts with Game Capture: Other capture programs, Razer Synapse (disable heatmaps), graphics mods like ENBSeries and SweetFX, and any type of software or utility that displays an in-game overlay like EVGA Precision, MSI Afterburner, RivaTuner, TS3/Mumble overlays, Dolby Axon, Raptr, Overwolf, etc. If you use D3DGear it must be uninstalled completely.

Your CPU is also very weak, you may want to try using the AMD AMF encoder instead.
