Question / Help Performance decrease after moving to Obs Studio

So I recently switched to obs studio from obs classic, the problem now is that I'm receiving about a 50% to 70% less performance overall. I usually get around 120fps in League of Legends but when streaming with obs studio the performance goes down to around 40fps. I have the same settings for both of the clients but obs classic out performs obs studio in both recordings and streaming. At times obs studio would drop my computer's fps just by being open on idle. While in-game, I've also experienced screen tearing in addition to fps drop.

Spec: i7 4810MQ 2.8GHz-3.4GHz
Windows 10
GTX870m
8gb ram
250GB SSD + 1TB HDD

Ps: I know I have a laptop but the streaming and recording on obs classic is working perfectly

I got about a 10fps increase and instead of screen tearing it now has a laggy effect where the screen tearing was
