Setup my Elgato HD60 to xbox one to my laptop (as per internet instructions), attempted to preview stream or even start stream in OBS and I would either only get a black screen or a broken image. Elgato's own software was very delayed and laggy aswell.

As far as I can gather it was my laptop having issues for being a laptop......even completely restored with fresh windows 10 install. My Laptop is some variant of a Toshiba Satellite Intel Core 2 processor and 4gb RAM as well as memory serves (sorry for being vague, its not with me at the moment) So long story short my laptop has failed to get this streaming lark going and from what I have read on the webs, laptops in general arent very good at handling it.

Was wondering if people thought something like this link would be enough to handle what my laptop sadly cannot. https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...-atx-ddr3-gaming-cube-fs-154-og.html#t=b2c4j6 with the upgraded processor of AMD A4 - 6300

The reason I have linked this particular set up is I will be selling my laptop and want something relatively small as opposed to a massive tower for room and transport reasons.. Any other suggestions welcome, looking for something in similar price range up to about £300 if necessary.

Side note:: how would it fair in terms of editing video aswell?

AMD APUs are... anemic, to put it politely.

Complete budget-grade crap, to be less polite. It will perform terribly as a livestreaming or even high-def recording machine.

Look for a modern Intel i5 or i7; a non-mobile version, and preferably a discrete GPU.
