I'm recording my main laptop with my older laptop. I plug the hdmi from my main computer into my elgato game capture hd, then the hdmi video output goes into my monitor and the usb output goes into my older laptop where I record. The recording goes very well, but I have 1 major issue : I don't have any sound output. The sound is recorded, and I can hear it with the delay (which is way too big for gaming) on my older laptop, but I have no audio from my main laptop. My monitor has no audio output. If I use a hdmi audio splitter in between my capture card and my monitor, I can get the sound without delay, but it works pretty bad and gets disconnected pretty often. Do you have any idea of how I can fix this please ?
