Question / Help PC - no audio from external soundcard (mbox 3)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help offered here.

Issue: I'm attempting to run audio from Pro Tools 8 via mbox 3 (connected via usb 3.0). OBS has a setting listed under Output (Avid Mbox) but it yields no sound.

Rig:
Windows 10 - 64bit (no CoreAudio here!)
Pro Tools 8/mbox 3
i7-6700K
32 gb RAM
GTX 900

Is there a plugin I should get? Am I missing something obvious?

Is Pro Tools 8 using your mbox 3 in ASIO mode?

No - the current engine is set to Mbox. It's not a dropdown either, so I don't see any other choices (screenshot of playback engine attached). I've used ASIO for FL Studio (which streams to OBS without issue) in the past though.

I just did some research, pro tools 8 requires ASIO support in the sound device. OBS can't capture sound in your setup yet.

Darn, I was afraid that could be the case. Thanks again for your help!

I'm looking into Voicemeeter and similar programs but it sounds like I'd need to upgrade PT for an immediate solution.
