Question / Help PC/Laptop mic problem

Hello guys, im looking for some help with mic setup, i got avermedia lgp which connected to my laptop and audio coming out from my gaming pc via hyperx sound card to lgp, the problem is i cant figure out how to make my mic work. Hyperx has mic built in and i cant make my mic work. I am not good with these things, does anyone know how to make my mic work ?

I have an Aver Media LGX so I will try to help out. Go to device manager and see if in the first place your mic is registered by your PC. If it is then check "Recording" device options and see if your mic is there and play around with the levels and see if they sound alright. If your mic appears in the device manager it should appear in OBS's audio options..
