So recently I have been having a lot of issues with OBS. My PC is setup strictly for streaming. SO when I first setup the program it was not intended for me to change it unless I was making some serious upgrades.
Firstly I noticed that OBS just randomly stopped capturing windows and games with either capture tool built in. For example all Blizzard games, WoW, Hearthstone will not work when selected with either game or window capture. Game capture will display and black screen and window capture will show an image of the last frame the game was on.
I also noticed that when I'm streaming my frames are very late at random. Normally I have never had an issue but lately out of nowhere the frames go from a consistent 60FPS to inconsistent 50-40-30 then back up to 60. OBS is not displaying this as dropped frames but the log analyzer is showing them as late.
I'm hoping that someone may have some insight on this.
The only resolution to this issue it to deleted the entire program and reinstall but I can't afford that type of downtime with Pax just around the corner.
