Question / Help PC game streaming through Elgato or through OBS directly?

Hello! I am new to PC streaming! Just bought a new PC a couple weeks back.

I have an elgato HD60 Pro and while I will use it for console I streaming, I will also be streaming PC games (PUBG for instance). I have been playing around with settings for the last couple weeks and can't decide if I should stream through the elgato when I play PC games or if I should just use OBS directly.

Any advice or feedback on this would be appreciated!

Also I have a i7 7700 + Nvidia GTX1080

obs directly. there is not really a point to use elgato for pc games.
