Pause & Countdown timer for local recording & video splitter

First of all congratulations for this amazing software!
I have a suggestion! I want to be able to pause the recording when I'm streaming locally. I don't want to stop because it creates another video file. I just want to pause it and continue the recording in the same archive from the point I paused. You will help me a lot if you do that! I wish there was a way to implement an internal countdown timer and video cutter to separate the video file in relation to the time limit that I will define...

Thats will be cool, i see it something like this

Video spliting for setted time(on-air or after end of stream) is realy wanted to OBS,its kinda hard to split when you stream about 6-7 hours, not all have skills with video edition tools like vegas and etc
Hope you'll add this feature =)

I was mostly interested in 20-30 minute video which I guess is not too much of a trouble :) But I need that pause option too! It's really helpful when you need to look through some information online and then continue your recording! I also had some trouble with a specific game... it was called Devil Inside and the only way I was able to capture it was via monitor capturing option I tried both 32 and 64 bit and both versions seemed to have the same issue. I'm not dissapointed though since I'm capturing via monitor but when I need to look into online info those actions are being recorded as well which looks ugly! The matter is I can't play the game in window mode otherwise I would use the inner window recording option but I think it's still recording everything on top of the window...
