pause bottom when recording

Hi all, I have two laptops that I run OBS on independent of each other, both are running version 27.2.3 On the one laptop when I start recording a pause button appears and on the other one it does not. The pause recording button is very helpful to me. How to I get the pause button to activate on the second laptop. Many thanks for any and all help with this,,,,,,,,,,RM

The pause button is only visible when you don't use the option "Same as stream" in the Recording settings
