Pause and resume recordings

So Xsplit added a feature where you can "live" edit your video by pausing and resuming recordings. Can you add this feature later on....this will save a lot of time editing my videos and will probably help others to. I know you guys are working on the other obs and um completely aware that this takes a long itme but im just asking if this is a feature that will come to obs.

Has been requested and will probably come sooner or later. In the mean time I would just recommend to join the mp4/flv files later which should be pretty fast too.

yea but its kinda hard to do when u play madden but sooner or later is better then nevee
