Parallels Windows for Mac

Hello everyone so I have a complex problem. I have been given an opportunity to stream as a career. I can't use my MacBook to steam as it doesn't pair with the app's software that pairs with obs. So I have decided to get parallels ( A application similar to Bootcamp that lets you use windows on Mac) I have the parallels and for some reason when I try to use obs on my two capture cards Avermedia live gamer ultra or Elgato HD60s the screen is black on the obs video capture view. I am sure that cards are working because my monitor does turn on when connected to them. How can I fix this? Something I did notice was both my capture cards under device management appeared under the cameras section not the devices section is that why? If so how would I fix this?

Thanks for reading have a good one. I appreciate all replies.

did you run OBS in the Paralels ?

I only meant they are similar as they both allow you to run Windows. I have heard people run it before.

No I'm sorry I have a xbox series x so I connect my capture card whichever one to that then I connect that to my mac.
