Question / Help Panasonic as Video Capture

I have a Macbook Air, and I have been hired to stream a cooking comp. So I want to use OBS. I have a Panasonic 3mos AVCCAM camera, but when i connect it to my mac, i cannot use that camera as a video capture device. When i try to add a new device the only option i get is my Facetime HD camera, and that is the webcam built in to my mac. Is there any solutions?

How are you connecting your camera to your Mac? For this to work properly you'll probably need to come out of the HDMI port from the camera and then use a HDMI capture device to get the feed into OBS. Not all capture cards are compatible with OBS so make sure you do it a bit of research before hand.
