Question / Help Overlays, Ads, Alerts

Hey guys,

finally I got a new setup and I can think about streaming again!

Today I would like to learn something regarding the overlays and other stuff people can see, when someone is subbing, following or donating, etc. And also some smooth Inserts to create awareness for social media channels.

These things don't look like GIFs anymore. They are often very high quality with great effects and I ask myself now if they created videos for that?

So I know I can create transparent videos, without a white background. But can I set this videos on repeat in OBS?
And how are they creating such nice things for subbs? I only know twitchalerts for GIFs :S

No idea? Is is maybe just a flash vid? or an html file with a repeater and everything is just running in a browser?

im currently testing TeeBoard which has some auto video repeat features which can be used with the clr plugin but there are currently not as much customizations possible when it comes to follower/sub alerts.

i think most people are either testing around or have actual tools for it

Things like twitter and youtube popups can easily be done with a video which is on repeat. Just make sure the background is a colour you can chroma key out.

Sub/Follow/Donate notifications are usually done by a third party such as TwitchAlerts however if you know what you are doing, there is no reason that these cant be done by yourself.

Yeah, I know that - Just wanted to be sure if there isn't a plugin or sth else for OBS which lets you repeat a video, or sth, you know?
