overlay keystrokes not full keyboard

Hi,

Im using OBS for half a year now to record tutorials I used input overlay https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/input-overlay.552/ to show my keystrokes, however having the full keyboard and mouse on the screen is covering up a lot.

Ive seen other videos where the the current key and mouse presses flash in the middle of the screen.

searching for a function like that however always leads me to similar plugins like input overlay with different keyboard representations.

is there such a "simple" overlay?

Did you find a solution? I would like that too. I need most of the keys, but only want it small as a helper, not a full keyboard taking up a lot of screen space. E.g. show CTRL-SHIFT-A or ALT-V etc.

Hey bro. Are you a Windows user? If the answer is yes, you can press the windows key + Ctrl + O to open the on-screen keyboard on your computer screen. I think it is the easiest way to make it.
If you only need to show the keystrokes, you can use a third party software such as recmaster. I found this feature when I tested its new version today. But the keystrokes are displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen instead of the middle of the screen, and disappear after a few seconds each time. I don't know if it solves your problem. If you have other better methods, recommend me too!
