I've been tweaking settings for a while now, and I've changed the stream lag from looking at pictures every so often to flipping incredibly slowly through a picture book. I can't play games like Skyrim or The Forest, and I'd like to be able to. I can stream League, but every now and then it suddenly chops up (or like when all the Champions meet and it's a free for all it becomes very laggy). I'm pretty sure it's my encoder, but I'm not sure how to fix the problem. The research I've done hasn't really helped me since I don't know what I'm doing, really.
I'm not really experienced with any of this kind of stuff, but I've noticed a lot of people post their specs.
My upload speed is 7.5 Mbps, and I've seen it go as high as 12.6 Mbps when nobody is on the connection with me (which is usually when I stream).
Output:
Video Bitrate: 2500
Audio Bitrate: 128
Encoder: Software x264
Encoder Preset: Superfast
Video:
Base Resolution: 1280 x 720
Scaled Resolution: 852 x 480
Downscale Filter: Bilinear
Common FPS Value: 30
PC Specs:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6200U CPU @2.30 GHz 2.40 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 Gb
Is my PC too lame to stream? Is it my internet? Suggestions, help, or anything to just teach me so that I can maneuver around a lil' better?
Sorry if this post is pretty much the same as one million, or I posted unnecessary things.
