Output to 1080p encoding intensive

Using a ryzen 3 first gen on a laptop:
Everything's ok if 720p even at 10000bitrate.

I don't know better, so my monitor is 720pmax res(is not, is 16:10 768p) and I'm capturing from a capture card.. whent he output is 1080p even when nothing on scene. Thanks

Sorry maybe it's not clear, when I set the output to 1080p and record even 1000kb/a bitrate, it's always 99% skipped frames, encoding overcharged.

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...

OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...
