Question / Help Output stream preview/stream window to secondary monitor?

Hello, I'd like to know if being able to output OBS' stream preview/stream window to a secondary monitor whilst streaming. I'd like to have a secondary monitor displaying what the stream sees in real time for displaying overlays and all that nice stuff to a local crowd as well as the stream.

If this is not implemented yet, I'll be sure to submit a request to the correct forum.

You can just open your stream on your second momitor and look at it, right?
Or did I misunderstand you're post? Sorry if that's the case

Not exactly what I'd want, but thanks for the reply!

I want essentially the stream preview to be outputted to another monitor (like xsplit or wirecast) in order to show a local live audience a game with overlays and camera shots on a projector.

I pretty much want a live feed for them to watch, but with all the bells and whistles the stream viewers watch.

This isn't possible with OBS yet, but it has been requested before. I'm not sure when/if it will happen, though.

Hi,

I google for this feature in OBS and i found this topix so i bump it.

Is this feature possible in the current software version ? Maybe by editing an .ini file to put the full screen preview in another monitor?

This has been implemented now. It's called Projector mode, right click your preview window:

Thanks for adding this feature. It's a huge helper for live shows. The monitor setting does not persist if you start stream, stop and start again. Wish it could remember the last selection. That would be really helpful. Thanks again for adding it!

Its really amazing to know that this feature exist. I was comparing OBS side by side with WireCast /Xplit and from the look of things OBS has most of the features they have, and at no cost.
