Hi again, still struggling get decent lighting to our Logitech Brio's even with extra front warm LED's added.

Are there any settings or profiles within OBS that can help with lighting and picture quality/format?

Possible to explain where I would find them in OBS settings please?

There are not. Webcams have a VERY small sensor, and need a LOT of light to work well, especially at high resolutions or framerates. Some can boost internal gain or lengthen exposure (in the Video Capture Device source, click 'Configure Video' to get to the area with these settings). But there is no make-it-good 'magic bullet' settings. No filters. You might be able to do something with a LUT (Google is your friend on how to set one of these up), but it's not going to be too great.
When you start with a low quality source, you can only polish a turd so much.

More light, a better camera, or preferably both are really your options.

Agree that. I bought the Brio's thinking the quality would be instantly high .... it is ok'ish. I've added colour adjustable front lighting and replaced overhead lights with warm LED and that's a definite step forward.

I'm just trying set up a fairly good Panasonic 4k camcorder and I think that looks like we getting somewhere.

But that's useful to know what not to waste time on as well FreetBomb .... appreciate you taking the time to advice. Is a good forum this one. Helpful folks.

Many thanks

Cheers!
Yeah, I grabbed a couple of Brios on launch, as the whitesheets looked incredible. Like the perfect webcam.
They're both sitting on my shelf in their boxes at this point, as I had nothing but endless problems with them.

I swapped over to a Sony a5100 DSLR and a capture card. A bit pricey, but totally worth it for the quality improvement.

Hi Guys,

I have three Brio's and have had nothing but problems with them working together with OBS. It is not OBS's fault, it's Logitech's.

I did find out how to get them to come up to specs with their video quality. For more than two cameras, you will find Logitech's Camera Settings software, it works pretty well controlling most settings accept Exposure, which is unfortunate to be sure.

If you are using one camera then you can have full control using their G-Hub software. The G-Hub will not work with more than one camera at a time, however, it does make the camera look fantastic.

I'm still struggling with fixing the issue with no exposure control with Logitech's Camera Settings Software. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
