Option to monitor final audio output

Couldn't figure out a way to monitor final audio output, so I'm requesting such feature. Basically an option to hear exactly what would be audible when you stream or record video.

My use case is live video, audio and image playback. Something similar to theater show. Unfortunately the lack of audio transitions in live situation make OBS unusable for such.

That seems to be only about visual monitoring and not monitoring in sense of hearing the output.

I'm also looking for a way to monitor the final stream audio. I often have audio/video playback on the PC feeding the live audience mixer (mixer output is then captured for the stream). I have a spare Roccat Juke (USB device which provides a single mic in / line out which I'm hoping can be configured so that I can choose to have it dedicated to only outputting the stream audio. Surely someone has done this before.
