Hello.

I really wanted to stream in 720p / 1080p but atm I'm only forced to stream at max resolution as 1680x1050 since my main monitor is not workin atm. The prob is that at 1680x1050 I'm getting terrible quality (my thought's) and problem is only with it. How I'm suposed to make it better?

My Current settings are ;

Use CBR, Bitrate/buffer = 3400, CBR padding, 50fps, in Advanced i didn't switched any option.

My Rig is ;
4770k
770gtx 2GB msi twinfrzr
2x4GB 2400mhz ddr3 ram
ssd samsung evo 120gb
Wind 7 Ultimate 64bit

The real upload is around 12-13Mbps+

P.S. Sorry for my english, I'm not pretty good at it :(

You really shouldn't be streaming at that high of a resolution + FPS combo. Not only is it hard on your computer and way too high of quality for the bit rate that Twitch requests, but it's extremely hard on viewers' computers, too. When resolution starts getting that high with that high of a frame rate, Flash kind of craps out on all but the most powerful computers and slows down the viewer's system.

I recommend downscaling by 1.5x, which will reduce the bit rate demand of your stream and not only make it more watchable, but will possibly improve the quality since you can spend all your bit rate on a smaller image.

Thanks for fast reply!

What about those presets in advanced menu? Cpu Preset and Encoding profile, should i do something with them?

And last question downscalling by 1,5 will make quality sharper??

Encoding profile should be at main if you're streaming to Twitch. And CPU preset should stay at the default of veryfast.

Downscaling by 1.5 won't make the quality "sharper" but it will make the picture less blurry, if that makes sense. Using the Lanczos filter will help, too.

I would also try lowering your FPS to 30 and then raising your resolution back to 1680x1050 and see how that goes, too.

And in either of those cases, you can then try changing the CPU preset to faster or fast and see if your CPU isn't getting overloaded, or if the in-game performance is suffering too much.
