Question / Help Optimized Twitch Settings (CSGO)

I've recently started streaming, and I apologise upfront if you guys get a lot of posts like this as I've heard you do, but I've been told this was the best way for a low knowledge person like myself to get the best twitch settings I can get. Below are my specs, followed by the log of my last stream. The problem I'm currently having is that the stream itself is -very- blurry when I'm on the move in-game.

Download Speed: 30mbps
Upload Speed: 6mbps

System Specs:

OS: Windows10
CPU: Intel Core i5 4460 @3.20ghz
RAM: 8GB's
Motherboard: ASRock H81M
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti (MSI)
Monitor: BenQ GL2450H (1920x1080@60Hz)

Stream Log:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help, I apologise if I've not followed anything I was supposed to. I'm a noob with this stuff.

base resolution in OBS to 1920x1080 then downscale it to 1280x720. set fps to 30fps. bitrate and buffer should both be set to 2500.

if streaming CS:GO do not use launch options like -high or -threads because it will negatively affect either your stream or the game itself

Since you only have a midranged i5, it is recommended that you do not use settings above this. the bitrate can be tweaked a little to help with quality but that might impede certain mobile viewers or even cause buffering.

Thanks, could there be any explanation to the blurry quality when on the move? Is that likely to be my CPU?

its either:

1. the bitrate was set to low
2. the resolution downscale was not set low enough
3. the fps set to high.

in the end, if it is bluring, the bitrtate is not enough for the the resolution/fps. And again, if set to high, you'll lose viewers due to buffering.

Using the ultrafast preset will definitely make it look bad. Why did you change this from veryfast? Change it back, your CPU should be able to handle it.

I'm not sure why this was changed, either it was set like that from a long time ago or it was set like that by default. Either way, I'll test this and get back to you! Thank you.

Can confirm this has sorted the issue, thanks for the help guys. I don't suppose any of you would know if I should change anything for the upcoming No Man's Sky release?

Each game will be slightly different in it's CPU usage but 720@30 is a safe limit to ensure the game has plenty of CPU to use.

The only thing I can think of is newer games do not always capture with game capture. In order to capture them you might need to try and edit the properties of the game capture and use "Anti Cheat hook" until OBS gets on the "safe" list for the game. I would first try NMS with just game capture first though.
