Question / Help Optimization for twitch streaming

Just need help optimizing for my specific network, and hardware.
cpu: i5 4430
graphics: xfx dd r9 290
Monitor resolution is 1920x1080 @60 hertz
12gb of 1333mhz ram
Any streaming people wanna help out?

i assume you already run into some sort of issue therefore it would be nice if you could post a log.

if you did not stream so far, https://obsproject.com/estimator the estimator is always a great start

as a casual recommendation for us non partner streamer
720p30 with 2k bitrate/buffer
cbr/cfr checked
keyframe 2
profile main
is a great starting point

I stream games like Rocket league, Elite: Dangerous, and high motion games in general. It seems as though while my stream keeps up with the action, it ends up being a mess of pixels most of the time.

However the estimator seems to tell me that I should be able to handle a bitrate of 3500/3500.

the estimator caps at 3500 and if you have over 4,5mbit upload the estimator is always suggesting 3500 but in the real world thats too much bitrate if you dont have transcoding options or get the priority routing. the reason being why most of the people here will suggest staying between 2k-2,5k with 720p30.


but i'd still like to see a log :)
