It used to happen just when something updated (it's been a while, so I'm not sure what that element was back then), but now every single time I open OBS, it resets the input from HDMI to SDI on the capture card. It doesn't happen after closing OBS—just when it opens. This means that every time you open OBS, you have to use Desktop Video Setup (BMD's software controller for the card) to change it back, then give the ok on the installation-style popup window when it asks if you really want to allow this software to make a change to the computer.
It's simple enough to do if you know to do it, but doing it every single time you have to restart OBS itself or the whole computer is a hassle. Throw on top of that the issue that I won't always be the one restarting things (this is on a church computer), and this could cause us to not be able to stream somewhere down the line because of this stupid glitch.
Anyone know why this might be happening?
