Just updated OBS Studio to what looks like 26.1.1 a couple days ago and am just now trying to use it, i notice while playing Warzone that even just having OBS open and not recording or streaming it is giving me like a motion blur and frame drops in game, however the frame drops are not actually happening, its still showing 100+ FPS for in game but thats the effect its giving me while having OBS open and playing Warzone. Looks and feels like im playing the game at 50 FPS and having motion blur, but as soon as i close OBS completely the game runs smooth. Any ideas/thoughts? no hardware or setting changes just the update for OBS that came out earlier this week. OBS has been working fine for me and games were running perfectly smooth until the latest update this past week.

Post a logfile from a streaming or recording session, and we can take a look. We really do need one to do almost any troubleshooting, why it says to include one when opening a new thread in the Support section.

game display 1
obs display 2

Display 1 144hz
Display 2 60hz

with a not up to date windows?
this is a windows display handle error he try to sync the framerate to a lowest matching rate
144/2=72 above 60 144/3=48 match
so bottom go to like 48 (this is what you see)>
set all same refresh rates or update

I am having same issues as OP. Just having OBS open makes my Warzone blurry and makes me dizzy. I get some frame drop statistically (from ~110 down to 90) but it feels more like 45-50. Had the same problem with streamlabs. It’s not even when I’m live so it’s not like I can adjust OBS settings to fix and as soon as i close OBS it’s magically better. My Windows is up to date so I should have the above fix. My gaming monitor is 1440p 240hz and my second display is a Samsung 40” tv at 4K 60hz. Do you think it is the television/hz difference causing the problem?
