Solution to what?

Do you have an AMD card and the AMF encoder plugin installed? Do you have an Nvidia card that supports NVENC? Do you have an Intel CPU that supports QuickSync?

If the answers to all the above are "no" then x264 will be the only option you'll have.

Okay, so AMD CPU means no QuickSync.
AMD GPU means no NVENC.

Depending on your model of AMD card you may be able to use the AMF encoder, but that's a third party plugin you need to install.

AMF Encoder is not something you have to install though, it's included with OBS.
