Hello,
There are stereo live streams on Facebook, so I'm trying some myself. Despite OBS sending a stereo stream, the output from Facebook Live's video is mono. I've verified this with a ping pong delay, and a source signal which pans hard left and hard right. I'm using the "Facebook Live" preset service for the Stream Type in settings.
I sent the same stream to YouTube Live, using the "YouTube / YouTube Gaming" preset Stream Type, and YouTube played back in stereo just fine. Generated a new stream key for Facebook Live after switching back to the "Facebook Live" preset, and the playback through Facebook is mono. I've verified the audio settings in OBS are set for stereo, 44.1khz, 128kbps.
If anyone has any personal experience streaming stereo audio through Facebook Live with OBS, and has verified the playback from the video is indeed stereo, please let me know if there were any issues. Facebook may have recently made this change to mono.
