Question / Help Only getting sound if i open RECentral and press: See more (C985)

Only getting sound if i open RECentral and press Wizard or Advanced (using OBS)

If i stop the stream and restart i get no sound and directly if i open RECentral and press wizard or Advanced i get sound again.

So every time i start stream i need to open RECentral and press Wizard or Advanced to get sound in stream.

Wierd bug or i need to download something?

I using latest build of OBS for W 8.1
I using latest build of RECentral (v1.3.0.84) for W 8.1
I using latest Firmwire for my LIve Gamer HD card (v22 not bricked), Have brick one card before.

Anyone else out there having this wierd problem?

post your logfile from under the help menu. are you using window capture or video capture device?

I got it to work with "LGHD stream engine"

But i have got other propblems now. It worked for a couple of days.

OBS started to crash! Problem to open LGHD and some other problems.

Have reinstall all drivers and LGHD but i cant start up LGHD right now.

you should be using video device capture, but make sure rec central is not running when you do or else you wont see the source feed in OBS.

I do and i have picture but no sound.

When i start up rec central and press Amateur/Pro/Newbie i start get sound.

I gonna try install LGHD stream engine and see if it get it to work.

Has any one figured this out? That obs guide is not what the first guy is talking about. It has to do with how the card configures the sound. I also have this issue where i have to go into the Rec cent and go to like advanced into the profile then the sound comes on in the card. The rec cent tells the card like hey use aux instead of HDMI for sound input...there has to be a way to like have rec cent auto open or tell the card which sound inputs to use with out having to go into the advanced options....

Also when i switch scenes, i have to close rec cent then reopen into advanced mode again to get gaming pc sound for OBS...so annoying...i can make a video if what i am saying is not clear...

you shouldn't have RECentral open when you run OBS. OBS should be using video capture device

Right, thats what i am saying, i shouldn't have to do it, but i have to open rec cent and go to advanced each time i switch a scene to get my ingame sound working for my stream....
