Question / Help Only a black screen shows when using Game Capture option

Since the November 24th update, I cannot use the Game Capture option in OBS without only getting a black screen. Today I tried the latest version of OBS MultiPlatform, hoping maybe there would be a difference, but unfortunately I get the same results. The black screen is in the preview and in the stream itself. I have no idea what could be causing this, but I know this problem started as soon as I updated OBS. Additionally, my video drivers are up to date.

My system specs:

Windows 10 Professional 64-bit (10.0, Build 10586)
Intel Core i7-3770k @ 3.5 Ghz
16 GB RAM
EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB SSC

If any additional information is needed, I'll be glad to provide it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

EDIT: I should also clarify that at the time this issue started, I was using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1. Since then I have upgraded to Windows 10 and performed a clean install. The problem has persisted on both operating systems.

What game are you trying to capture?

I'm trying to capture a game called Pokemon Uranium, however this problem also happens with games such as Fallout 4, which is what I was trying to capture back when I first encountered this problem in late November.

Bump from me too, I'm trying to record all games and it shows for a brief second, then just freezes, or it's just a black screen! I found a way to record game using display capture, but that's not practical! and also my desktop audio is being recorded, but I'll start a new thread for that!
