Question / Help One source per audio track

Hello !

I'm been guided here by my need of recording each audio source on a different track to edit them afterwards. However, I've seen multiple guides & videos but I've found the solution in none of them :(

When I record my game, I usually have these sources: Game, Discord voice chat, and my Microphone, and having the sound of my teammates on the same track as the ingame sound makes it impossible to have perfect replays with only the ingame sound on the video.

I've seen a guide on advanced audio settings, I've enable three tracks and added a second audio device to record windows sound, but I'm stuck there, how do I tell OBS to record Discord on one track, Game on another, and Microphone on a last one ?

Also if it works with more than three I'd be glad to have a solution too, I cannot add a fourth device from what I've seen, but I would appreciate having the option to record any other sound than game, mic and discord on a fourth track.

Not sure if I'm clear enough, I'll be glad to rephrase if needed.

Thanks for your help !

You need to route the sound of each application to the standalone audio device. 3 applications require 3 devices (virtual devices is well enough). OBS Studio captures only devices. So, each application you want to capture should has settings to choose audio device (to playback to), and you need number of sound devices in your system (to choose different devices for different programs).
