Question / Help OK To Close PC Internet Browser After Connecting To Facebook?

Once I get connected to my Facebook Live Page and begin streaming, is it OK to close my PC's internet browser? If OK, won't that save CPU load? Thank you.
 
thank you for this information. i'm trying to channel all my internet resources to OBS because i have a really bad one, closing the browser would mean a lot
 
Depends on 'internet resources'... if wired connection (cable mode, DSL, fiber, etc), and even some wireless (5G cellular), having the /live/preview is using download bandwidth, which is usually on separate channels (get real technical as to whether that would impact upload bandwidth ... usually download bandwidth impact on upload would be negligible... but it depends)
