might try enabling anticheat hook, but I am unaware of it works with that kind of setup.Hey there,
recording Oculus Rift works fine if the image is duplicated on the monitor and I just do a monitor capture. But when I try game capture, all I get is a black recording with the game sound. Any idea what is happening?
Only thing odd is you have your scene buffering set to 10,000ms (10 seconds). typical for this is 700ms and i've really seen no one needing over 1400 ever.I found out what the issue was, I didn't set the right source in the game capture setting. I still had it at explorer. But now I've got another problem - the moment I press record, the game.exe crashes. Here is a log:

did you lower the scene buffering?Any other idea why it's crashing? Oculus Rift Games typically open two windows, one on oculus, one on destop. I was able to record Dirt Rally (non Oculus) just fine. I was able to record oculus via monitor before.
Post a log where that happens with the new settings.Yes, I did. Still crashing. Not every game though, but most of them. UE4 games seem to be fine. Unity is instant crash.
you are capturing directly to ashes.exe instead og game.exe (which I'm assuming is the oculus software in non-3d? I thought you were attempting to capture the game.exe...
Unfortunatly, I'm unable to help past this point since I do not have your same equipment and setup. Hopefully you'll find someone that has worked out your setup and got it to work. There are ashes.exe, one with TVxyz behind that and one without anything behind it. Both crash at the moment I start the recording.
