I've been streaming+recording a 1,25 hour show with a very simple scene, basically a Blackmagic Device and a small logo. OBS 26.0.2.
Output stream to Youtube via wired Internet with NVENC 3500 kbps hardware encoding and recording "same as stream".
BMD input is 1080i50 and video output 720p25 (no deinterlace as source is PsF); device is a BMD UltraStudio Mini Recorder (v. 11.6); BMD ATEM Television Studio (the old one) providing both 1080i50 pic and stereo 48 kHz audio.
The powerful PC was running OBS + BMD ATEM Software Control + Youtube Live Studio (Firefox). 6 core i7-8850H & 32 GB RAM. Nothing demanding & resource usage was constant and very low (CPU around 5%), no apparent bottleneck.
The final stream and local SSD recording exhibit occasional (but more regular and noticeable in some parts) dropped frames and at other places short audio dropouts.
Where do I start t'shooting this ? Is there a frame sync issue between the BMD video device and OBS ?
